01The table
What can I do on ChillHub, and where is each thing?
Start from what you want to do and read across. The middle column names the feature and the last one says where to look for it. The sections under the table add a few lines on each, and link to the page that covers it in full.

02Starting
How do I start talking to someone?
Press Start video chat. The browser asks for your camera and microphone, and the site pairs you with one person who is online. There is no profile to fill in first, because a guest session is created when the page loads.
That is the whole of it from this page's point of view. The steps are set out, in order, on how ChillHub works, and what to say once a face appears is on the page about the 1 on 1 video call.
03Choosing
How do I see who is online?
Use the Who's online button. It opens a list of people who are on the site, and the list can be viewed by country. Tapping a face opens that person's profile.
A profile is where three features meet: follow, message and video call. If you are curious about one place in particular, the by-country view pairs well with the time-zone table on the page about international friends.
04Messages
How do I say hello without calling?
Send a message from the person's profile. They do not have to be online at that moment; the message is there for them when they next open the site. It is the gentlest way to make a first contact, and the most practical one when the two of you live many hours apart.
Typed messages can translate automatically, so you can write in your own language. Translation applies to text, not to speech.
05Keeping people
How do I keep someone I liked?
Follow them. A person you follow is saved, which gives you a way back that does not depend on luck: open their profile, then write to them or call them again.
Following is what the page on how to make friends online is built around. It walks through the four steps from a first hello to a second call.
06On a call
What can I do while a call is running?
Talk, type, or both. A call is live video between you and one other person, with a text box beside the picture. Use the text box for a name that is hard to spell, a song title, or a first hello if you would rather not open with your voice.
You can end a call whenever you want, and you can go to a new match when the next button is available. What a new match draws on is explained on Is ChillHub free?. If a call goes badly, the safety page covers reporting and blocking.
07Free matches and coins
Where do free matches and coins come from?
Free matches come with your first visit and from the Reward Center at the top of the match screen. Coins come from the coin store on the site. That is all this page needs to say; the rule for what is used when is on Is ChillHub free?, and buying is covered on the coins page.
08Any device
How do I open ChillHub like an app?
Add it to your home screen from the browser's menu. The site then has its own icon and opens like an app. The exact taps differ between iPhone, Android and a computer, and the ChillHub app page lists them for each.
09Situations
Which feature should I use when?
The same features suit different moods. A few common situations, and the one to reach for:
- You are shy about the camera. Open Who's online, pick a friendly profile and send a message first. On a call, type your hello.
- You want a surprise. Press Start and take whoever the match brings.
- You are learning a language. View Who's online by country, and keep the text box open during the call for the words you cannot say yet.
- You enjoyed a call yesterday. Open the profile of the person you followed. Leave a message, or call if they are online.
- The person you like lives far away. Messages wait for them, so write in your evening and read the reply in your morning.
- You are on a borrowed or work computer. Use the browser; nothing is installed.
- Your free matches are used. Look at the Reward Center before anything else.
- You use it most days. Put the icon on your home screen.

10When something is off
What if a feature does not work?
Most problems are a browser permission. If the camera or microphone will not switch on, the help center has the fix for each device. If a purchase did not arrive or you need to tell us about something, the contact page says what to put in your message. And if you would like to know why the site is put together this way, that is on the about page.
