ChillHub Privacy Policy
§Plain words, no small print
Privacy Policy
ChillHub puts two people on a live video call in the browser. Doing that involves some personal data. This page says which data, what we do with it, who else handles it and what you can ask us to do.

01 Scope
This policy applies to chillhub.chat however you reach it: in a browser tab or from an icon on your home screen. It covers guests and signed-in users alike, and it starts to apply the first time the site loads on your device.
02 Information you provide or generate
- A guest identifier created automatically on your first visit, along with the display name and language you choose.
- Sign-in information, should you decide to sign in. We receive what is needed to recognise you again; we do not receive passwords for accounts held elsewhere.
- Anything you add to your profile, for example a photo or a few words about yourself, and the list of people you follow.
- Typed messages. They are stored so they can be delivered, translated where needed and shown in your conversation history.
- Activity on the site: when matches and calls took place and roughly how long they lasted, Reward Center claims, and how coins were spent.
- Reports you submit and emails you send to support.
03 Information gathered automatically
- Your IP address, which also tells us an approximate country.
- The type of device and browser you use, the operating system and the screen size.
- Logs of errors and performance, so faults can be found and fixed.
- Cookies and local storage that keep you signed in to your session and remember your settings.
04 Camera and microphone
You grant access through your browser, and you can take it back in the browser settings at any time. During a call your picture and sound are sent to the other person so the conversation can happen.
Please remember that the person you are talking to can see whatever your camera sees. We cannot stop someone from pointing a second device at their own screen, which is one reason to keep private details out of frame.
05 Purchases
When you buy coins, the payment is handled by a third-party payment provider. We keep the order reference, the amount and the time of the purchase. You enter card details with the provider, not with us.
06 How the information is used
- To run the service: matching people, connecting calls, delivering and translating messages and showing who is online.
- To maintain your session or account, including balances, follows and preferences.
- To keep the site safe: looking into reports, applying the community guidelines and keeping people under 18 off the site.
- To repair and improve the product, using logs and combined usage figures.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping purchase history.
07 Who we share it with
Some data goes to companies that provide services to us: servers and media delivery, payment processing, analytics, translation and support tools. They may use it only to do that work.
We may also disclose information when the law obliges us to, or when it is necessary to protect someone from harm. If ChillHub were ever passed to another operator, your data would transfer under protections at least as strong as these.
08 Retention
Information linked to an account is kept until the account is closed. When you ask for deletion we erase or anonymise it, apart from what the law requires us to keep, such as purchase history, and what is needed to uphold a ban.
09 Your options
- Write to [email protected] to ask for a copy of your data, to correct something or to have your data deleted.
- Switch off camera or microphone access in your browser.
- Clear cookies and local storage. Be aware that doing so ends a guest session for good.
- Object to a specific use of your data, or raise a complaint with the data protection authority where you live.
10 Age
ChillHub is only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 is using an account, we may close the account.
11 Updates
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For a significant change we will put a notice on the site before the new version applies.
